Newly Launched Coca-Cola NFT Collection is a Gift to the Fans

It looks like Coca-Cola’s metaverse journey fans are in for one of the best friendship day’s gifts ever. Coca-Cola unveiled a new NFT collection to celebrate friendship’s day. The fans received these NFT via airdrops on the 30th of July 2022. 

The brand extended a big thanks to the fans with its special digital collectible. This is the first of its kind generative and shareable Coca-Cola NFT collectible itinerary. The Polygon blockchain hosts the new collection. The blockchain is also one of the six companies in the Disney Accelerator Program. 

It’s a Milestone for One-Year Anniversary of Coca-Cola NFT

Coca-Cola launched into the metaverse on friendship day in 2021. This year marks their one-year anniversary in this fantastic world, and the new collectible is also a milestone of initiation. 

The head of global creative strategy at Coca-Cola, Pratik Thakkar, said, “International Friendship Day — which launched our metaverse journey in 2021 — is the perfect milestone opportunity to thank and celebrate the people who have joined us.”

He added, “We hope to strengthen and expand our “Real Magic” community by building connections through a variety of physical and virtual Coca-Cola experiences.”

Unity and Connection Inspired Coca-Cola NFT

The newly launched Coca-Cola NFT collectibles collection is based on the Unity and Connection theme. The NFTs contain bubbles inside the Coke bottle, and they represent the core theme values. 

To further promote the principles of unity, Coca-Cola motivated the beneficiaries of the airdrops to share the second collectible they received with others. This is to build an environment of friendship in the open blockchain. 

The buck does not stop here. Coca-Cola has plans to continue launching collectibles connected to important cultural events and moments. With this, Coca-Cola is building the brand’s virtual community and delighting the fans.
