The Ringo Starr NFTs feature animated artwork and a “custom-made drum composition recorded and played” by Ringo Starr himself. Fans who buy the NFTs will receive a 25′′ x 25′′ canvas print signed by the Beatles drummer. Furthermore, ownership of the NFT grants the owner to accompany Starr on a virtual tour of his RingoLand digital gallery experience. After the auction, all winning bidders will receive a private invitation to join Starr in this virtual hangout created by Spatial on the web, VR, or mobile. The starting bid for each of the 20 NFTs is $1,000.

Ringo Starr said, “I only ever wanted to be a drummer, yet you never know where a new idea or path will lead you. This new technology is so far out it’s inspired me and I loved creating these NFTs combining my art and my music. Who’d have thought I would be spreading Peace and Love in the Metaverse.”

Additionally, a portion of the proceeds from Ringo Starr’s NFT collection will benefit his charity, The Lotus Foundation, which supports projects aimed at improving people’s social welfare and health in a variety of ways.

Likewise, film director Spike Lee announced “Gotta Be Mars” NFT collection, which gives access to the “The Visible Project Portal” – a community that supports emerging filmmakers.
