Dwayne Wade Collaborating With Budweiser Zero to Launch NFT Collection

NBA legend Dwayne Wade collaborated with Budweiser to launch the Budweiser Zero NFT collection. The collection will drop on May 24 at 2 p.m. ET with special membership opportunities and charitable angle.  The NFTs will sell for $180 each and give buyers a chance to win prizes, including autographed Wade sneakers and to watch a Utah Jazz game with him.  

After he retired after the 2018-2019 season, he has been involved in numerous business ventures.  He signed a lifetime deal with Chinese sportswear company Li-Ning after his NBA career.  He also has continued partnership with MISSION, Hisense, BallerTV, Stance, Budweiser, Mars Reel, Wade Cellars, 800° Woodfired Kitchen, and D. Wade Burgers.

Dwayne Wade co-founded Budweiser Zero in 2020 which only contains only 50 calories in it.  It is a non-alcoholic, sugar-free brew with the refreshing, full-flavored taste you would expect from Budweiser.  This product was specially developed for fans who want to enjoy beer with no alcohol.

According to the Utah Jazz owner, the partnership will hold their unique capabilities and relationships to make a positive impact in the community.  Team up with Budweiser, Dwayne Wade will make a donation to create a grant program for minority-owned businesses in communities across the state.  It is based on his existing work with Social Change Fund United, which strengthens the color community and defends the rights of all Black lives.

Budweiser USA has been very active in NFT spaces for some time.  A lot of their collections and collaborations are available on OpenSea.  Additionally, they released the Budverse roadmap 2022 last month via twitter.   This roadmap includes many fascinating information, with Dwayne Wade’s Budverse Legends sitting right in the middle.  There is no detailed information given for this roadmap, however, it shows that they have massive plans for the NFT space in the future.
