Goose Island Beer Company Release Its First Ever NFT

Goose Island Beer Company, a brewery in Chicago, is releasing its first ever NFT collection called 2022 Goose Island Barrel House Collection (BHC) today.  Each NFT features designs inspired by the brewing process of Bourbon County Stout beers , celebrating its 30th anniversary.   

 The company is releasing 2,022 NFTs to celebrate its 30th anniversary and entry into web3.  According to the website, 2022 Goose Island BHC NFT holders will have unique incentives, exclusive access to benefits, rewards, and more.  The public sale of this collection will go live at 3:00 PM CST on May 13, 2022. However, early access begins at 12:00 PM.

 The NFT collection is categorized into 3 tiers: Select (1,992 BHC NFTs), Reserve (29 BHC NFTs), 24k Gold Edition (1 BHC NFT).  Each NFTs will be sold at $399 plus tax which can be purchased with not only credit card, but also cryptocurrency ETH, BTC, or USDC.  The tier of the NFTs cannot be selected by buyers. However, after purchasing the NFT, the tier will be revealed by May 20, 2022.    

Each NFT tier unlocks various access and perks.  The Select tier NFT holders will receive a throwback Goose Island Bourbon County Stout Tap handle from the Goose Island vault.  They will also get a custom barrel stave that was once used to age BCS and a limited edition snifter.  The Reserve NFT holders will receive additional branded digital frame to display NFT and custom barrel head.  

The 24k Gold Edition NFT, the most rare NFT in this collection, has the additional benefit of receiving an additional VIP barrel display shelf with 2022 BCS bottle.  It also provides 1:1 Bourbon County vintage tasting with a Goose Island brewer.
