ISKRA, a blockchain P2E gaming platform startup raised $34.5 million (42 Billion won) for first round of funding. The round was led by Kakao with participation from Wemade Entertainment, NHN Bigfoot, Neowiz, and Fast Ventures.

The money will go towards developing a blockchain-based gaming platform for P2E games, which allow players to incentivize rewards such as Tokens and NFT. The company plans to build a blockchain game community platform and launch games in hands with game developers.

Dongwook Jang, director of Kakao Ventures, said, “In terms of creating a P2E gaming platform, It’s very important to have top-tier game and blockchain experts in the team. That made me decide to invest in the Iskra team. Iskra will be able to lead the blockchain game ecosystem and grow the P2E market,”
